Florida Wandering Spider (Ctenus captiosus)

Florida wandering spiders (Ctenus captiosus) are a beautiful species of wandering spider native to exclusively Florida. They are moderately sized spiders and can reach up to 3”. These attractively patterned spiders, occasionally referred to as false wolf spiders or tropical wolf spiders, are one of my personal favorites and a must have for any “niche” true spider enthusiast! 

Currently available specimens are field-collected juveniles-adults.
