Fulvous Wood Cockroach (Parcoblatta fulvescens)
Fulvous Wood Cockroach (Parcoblatta fulvescens)
*Florida Legal*
Fulvous wood cockroaches (Parcoblatta fulvescens) are a small species native to the eastern United States. They are non-flying but can climb, so a barrier around the lid is necessary. They can be slow to start but once colonies are established they are very prolific. Fulvous wood roaches are an extremely versatile feeder.
This species has become a go to feeder in my collection for all kinds of animals. Throughout their lifecycle they can substitute for a variety of different feeders from pinhead-sized crickets all the way to adult-sized crickets.
