Giant Desert Centipede (Scolopendra heros arizonensis)

Giant desert centipedes (Scolopendra heros arizonensis) are a large subspecies of Scolopendra heros native to the Sonoran desert region. These stunning centipedes are coveted by Scolopendra keepers due to their impressive size and the variety of different colors and patterns they display depending on subspecies and locality. Able to reach sizes of up to 8" they are our largest native centipede species. Scolopendra heros aren't available frequently so don't miss the chance to snag one of these beautiful pedes!

Currently available specimens are field-collected adults. They are approximately 5-7”.
