Rio Grande Gold Tarantula (Aphonopelma moderatum)

Rio Grande gold tarantulas (Aphonopelma moderatum) are one of the most sought after species of Aphonopelma as they are widely considered one of the most beautiful members of the genus and aren't commonly available in the hobby. These tarantulas are native to the Rio Grande Valley of Texas and will continue to develop brighter colors and a more well defined pattern as they grow. 

Currently available specimens are field-collected sub-adults that are approximately 3-4".
